We human beings habitually tell stories about our bodies. Believing our stories brings suffering and distress. The buddhas have taught that the real life of our body completely transcends all our stories and the suffering that they entail. In reality our body is safe and free beyond what we know. Buddha’s teachings help us understand that the creative flow of our sensory body in its dance with the whole world is actually the path of freedom from suffering. This retreat will offer traditional and contemporary teachings to guide and encourage us in realizing our true body of peace and freedom. The retreat will include periods of quiet sitting and walking meditation together with teachings and group discussions. The schedule will allow plenty of free time to rest, relax, and enjoy the springtime mountains and skies.
