What we do “on the mat” is given perspective by how we live our lives off the mat. In this workshop we will use short discussions from the Yoga Sutras, active asana practice, as well as restorative yoga, pranayama, and meditation to create a juicy and livable practice to take home. Each class segment will focus on one aspect of practice. Specific topics will include active asana, restorative yoga, and a focus on the lower back and sacroiliac joint, both basic anatomy and therapeutic practice.

  • Continuing Education Credit for nurses.
  • Fulfills the spiritual practice prerequisite for John F. Kennedy University's Graduate School for Holistic Studies.
  • Qualifies for YTT 500. You must apply to the YTT 500 program before taking this class for credit.
