Ayurvedic Spring Cleansing and Rejuvenation Retreat

Treat yourself to an Ayurvedic spring renewal; six full days of cleansing and rejuvenation designed especially for your unique body-mind constitution. Ayurveda encourages us to take several days during each change of season for cleansing and renewal to restore our natural immunity. This retreat offers an opportunity to regain your own personal balance and will include:

  • An individual health consultation with Dr. Sarita Shrestha (incl. pulse diagnosis, herbal recommendations).
  • Two Ayurvedic treatments (including a full-body massage) with experienced Kaya Kalpa Wellness Center practitioners.
  • Daily yoga practice (breathing practices, postures & meditation).
  • A specially prepared Ayurvedic cleansing diet.
  • Health maintenance classes (such as Ayurvedic cooking, self-massage and restorative yoga).
  • Time for group sharing, personal reflection, journaling, forest walks.
  • A personalized home program of food, exercise, herbal and seasonal recommendations to help maintain balance for your individual body type.

Other options (priced separately) include a personalized herbal preparation and additional treatments such as swedan, shirodhara and marma point massage recommended by Dr. Shrestha.

  • Continuing Education Credit for nurses.

DR. SARITA SHRESTHA, M.D. Ayurveda, Ob/Gyn BHU, BAMS, renowned for her work in the field of women's health, brings over 25 years of clinical and teaching experience in both classical Ayurveda and modern medicine. Founder/Director of the Devi Ma Ayurvedic Rural Hospital in Nepal, she teaches throughout the U.S. each year.

  • CANCELLATION or CHANGE in REGISTRATION
    Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. For cancellations received at least 2 weeks before the program, the deposit less a $50 fee will be credited to any other program within one year. No credit is available for cancellation less than two weeks prior to the program, for no-shows, or for leaving an event early. Housing changes incur a $20 change fee.
  • Check-in for Mount Madonna Center programs begins at 4:00 pm.
  • Dinner is served from 5:30-6:30 on Friday and 5:00-6:00 on other days.
  • If you will be arriving late, please ask us to save a dinner for you.
  • Orientation begins at 7:00 pm.
  • The program will end about midday on the final scheduled day.
