Treat yourself to an authentic Ayurvedic spring renewal – six full days of cleansing and rejuvenation designed especially for your unique constitution! Ayurveda encourages us to take several days each season for cleansing and renewal to restore our natural immunity. Let this retreat be an opportunity to regain your own personal balance. You will have

  • An individual health consultation with Dr. Sarita Shrestha (including pulse diagnosis, herbal recommendations),
  • Two Ayurvedic treatments (including a full-body massage) with experienced Kaya Kalpa Wellness Center practitioners,
  • Daily yoga practice (breathing practices, postures & meditation),
  • A specially prepared Ayurvedic cleansing diet,
  • Health maintenance classes (such as Ayurvedic cooking, self-massage and restorative yoga),
  • Time for group sharing, personal reflection, journaling, forest walks, and
  • A personalized home program to help maintain balance for your individual body type.

Other options (priced separately) include a personalized herbal preparation and additional treatments such as swedan, shirodhara and marma point massage recommended by Dr. Shrestha. Participants will be individually mentored throughout the retreat by MMC Ayurveda staff.

  • Continuing Education Credit for nurses.

SARITA SHRESTHA, M.D. Ayurveda, Ob/Gyn BHU, BAMS, renowned for her work in the field of women’s health, brings over 25 years of clinical and teaching experience in both classical Ayurveda and modern medicine. Founder and Director of the Devi Ma Ayurvedic Rural Hospital in Nepal, she teaches and consults throughout the U.S. each year.

Register for this program


  • A deposit of $300 is required with registration.
  • Of the $300 deposit, $200 is a practioner's fee. If you cancel more than 2 weeks before the program, the $200 fee will be refunded, and $50 of the remaining $100 deposit will be credited to another program within one year; a $50 processing fee will be retained by the Center. Cancel within 2 weeks, and the entire $300 is forfeited. Deposits are not transferable to another person. There is no refund for leaving the program early, or for no-shows. Housing changes incur a $20 fee.

  • Registration check-in for this program is from 4:00 pm to 6:30 pm.
  • Dinner is served from 5:30-6:30 pm on Friday and 5:00-6:00 pm on other days.
  • If you will be arriving late, please ask us to save a dinner for you.
  • Orientation begins at 7:00 pm.
  • The program will end at 1:00 pm on the final scheduled day.
