PROGRAM DESCRIPTION 

Treat yourself to a personalized Ayurvedic spring rejuvenation – five inspiring days of yoga and Ayurveda practices to restore personal balance. Ayurveda suggests we take time each season to restore and strengthen our natural immunity. Yoga teaches us that daily practice brings peace of mind and vibrant health all year long! This holistic retreat includes

  •  Two health consultations with Dr. Shrestha, Ob/Gyn (includes pulse diagnosis and herbal recommendations), 
  • Two Ayurvedic body work treatments (includes full-body massage) with experienced Kaya Kalpa Center practitioners,  
  • Twice-daily yoga sessions (breathing practices, postures and meditation), 
  • Ayurvedic dietary suggestions, 
  • Health maintenance classes (Ayurvedic cooking, self-massage and restorative yoga), 
  • Time for silence, group sharing, personal reflection, journaling, forest walks, and 
  • A personalized program to help maintain balance at home.


Additional options (priced separately) include personalized herbal formulations and additional treatments such as abhyanga, swedan, shirodhara, and marma point massage recommended by Dr. Shrestha. Participants will be individually mentored throughout by MMC Ayurveda staff.

DR. SARITA SHRESTHA, M.D. Ayurveda, Ob/Gyn BHU, BAMS, renowned for her work in the field of women’s health, brings over 25 years of clinical and teaching experience in both classical Ayurveda and modern medicine. Founder and Director of the Devi Ma Ayurvedic Rural Hospital in Nepal, she teaches and consults throughout the U.S. each year.

  • A deposit of $100 is required with registration. Balance is due upon arrival.
  • CANCELLATION or CHANGE in REGISTRATION
    Deposits are non-refundable and are not transferable to another person. For cancellations received at least 2 weeks before the program starts, the deposit less a $50 fee will be credited to any other program within one year. No credit is available for cancellations less than two weeks prior to the program start date, for no-shows, or for leaving an event early. Housing and date changes incur a $20 change fee.
  • Registration check-in for this program is from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
  • Dinner is served from 5:30-6:30 pm on Friday and 5:00-6:00 pm on other days.
  • If you will be arriving late, please ask us to save a dinner for you.
  • Orientation begins at 3:15 pm.
  • The program will end at 1:00 pm on the final scheduled day.
