programs at MMC
Facilities:
Campgrounds are located in secluded redwood groves and
have running water, Center tents, and tent sites. Indoor rooms
generally are served by shared bathrooms on the hall. A few
private rooms with private bathrooms are available at additional
charge. Center facilities include hiking trails, volleyball,
tennis, and basketball courts, a large gymnasium for volleyball
and basketball, a pond (we call it "The Lake") for
swimming, and a hot tub. Oil massages and herbal steam baths
are also available by appointment at additional charge. We
serve delicious, highly nutritious vegetarian meals cafeteria
style, providing a range of choices, including non-dairy options.
We do not provide special meals to meet particular dietary
needs.

What to bring:
Towels, flashlight, warm clothing for cool nights, sturdy
shoes, toilet articles, an alarm clock, and a bathing suit
for swimming or hot tub. Do Not Bring: Pets, alcohol, drugs,
or food.
To register: Register
online or by phone. A non-refundable deposit of $100 per
person per program is required. Balance is due upon arrival
(cash, check, VISA or MasterCard only). For cancellations
received at least 2 weeks before the program, half of the
required deposit will be charged as a processing fee, and
half will be credited to any other program within one year.
There is a $20 fee for all housing changes. No credit is
available if you fail to give proper notice, if you do not
show up, or if you leave an event early.

We assign housing based on reservation
date and always try to accommodate our guests, subject to
availability for a given program. All rooms have single beds
only. Triples and dorms are generally not available
for personal retreats .
Lodging and facilities use charges ,
including delicious vegetarian meals, are per person
per day . These charges are in addition to the
tuition charged for each program.
We do not provide towels . Bring
one. You may also want to bring an alarm clock,
a flashlight, clothing for warm days and cool nights (and
possible rain), sturdy shoes for hiking, a swimsuit for
lake swimming or hot tubbing, and slippers if desired as
we generally do not wear shoes indoors.
Please, no food, drugs, alcohol, pets,
incense, candles or other flammables.
Please do not wear scented body products,
as these cause severe toxic reactions in some people.
