* Yoga Retreats and Yoga Teacher Training Only
Dormitory and triple accomodations are not generally available for personal
retreats.
Call for reduced rates on weeklong or longer
programs.
Housing is available in both rooms and
in cabins.
Rooms are in hotel-style
buildings (no phones or TVs in rooms, however). Some rooms
include a private bathroom with shower. Others have access
to nearby shared (but private while in use) bathrooms and
showers.
Cabins are located in a
forest grove, and include electricity and heat, but not
indoor plumbing. A separate shower house with private
shower and dressing rooms, and clean, well-ventilated privies
are nearby.
All beds are twin size.
Mount Madonna Center tents, available
from May 1 through October 31, have access to showers and
privies, and are set up with 2 foam mattresses, but no
bedding.
Developed campsites, for
your own tent, with good drainage and access to showers
and privies, are available year round. Please be aware
that we can receive significant amounts of rain from November
through May.
Various spots are available for your
van or camper. Some have access to electricity,
but no other hookups. Showers and restrooms are available
in campgrounds and Center buildings.
To register: Register
online, or mail or fax the printable registration form
and a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $100
per person per program. Balance is due upon arrival (cash,
check, VISA or MasterCard only). For cancellations received
at least two weeks before the program, we charge half of
the deposit as a processing fee, and we credit half to
any other program within one year. There is a $20 fee for
all housing changes. If you fail to give proper notice,
if you do not show up, or if you leave an event early,
no credit or refund is available . If the program is full,
we will refund your deposit in full.
We assign housing based
on reservation date and always try to accommodate our guests,
subject to availability for a given program. All rooms
have single beds only. Triples and dorms are generally
not available for personal retreats .
You
may want to bring an alarm clock, a flashlight,
clothing for warm days and cool nights (and possible
rain), sturdy shoes for hiking, a swimsuit for lake swimming
or hot tubbing, and slippers if desired as we generally
do not wear shoes indoors. We regret
that we are unable to provide laundry facilities or towels,
due to scarce water resources.
Please, bring no food, drugs,
alcohol, pets, incense, candles or other flammables.
Please do not wear perfumes,
colognes, or other scented body products, as these cause
severe toxic reactions in some people.
