Debra Chamberlin-Taylor and George Taylor
Passionate Midlife - A Couples Retreat
July 25-27

NOTE: There was typo in the date in our
recent email. The dates above are correct. A couple in their fifties
returned from a vacation and said, "It was like our honeymoon 22 years ago
except better in every way." They are spiritually, physically, and emotionally
passionate about their life together. This passion does not just come from good
luck. Their love and joy are deepening over time because they are using tools
which transform relationship into a path of growth and awakening.
In this workshop, we will offer the very practices and principles that have
revitalized their shared journey. In the midst of midlife's changes and
challenges, there are two directions couples tend to go. One direction is toward
deadening and closing down. The other is toward enlivening, and opening to all
that life brings. This weekend will support partners in choosing the path of
joyful aliveness. Intimacy and awakening will be inspired through couples
meditations, co-breathing activities, and conscious communication exercises.
Aging together isn't always easy, yet it can be a doorway into the genuine love
we have longed for. As we learn to meet ourselves and our partners with deepened
presence, compassion and honesty, we can finally relax in the embrace of the
awakened heart.
- Continuing Education Credit for nurses.
- Fulfills the spiritual practice prerequisite for John F. Kennedy University's Graduate School for Holistic Studies.
