Celebrating Community & Honoring the Legacy of Babaji

Q: "If a person has attachment to a loved one and the loved one dies, and the person feels grief, how do we deal with it when we are in it?"

A: "We are social beings with a heart full of love and emotions. We can’t turn our heart like a rock. We have to express our grief. But we have to accept its unchanging reality. Truthful acceptance lifts that load."

Re-Union 2019

Service, Connection, and Remembrance

This past week the 1st annual reunion gathering was held. It brought together family and friends, students and alumni, and past retreat and program guests to celebrate the rich teachings and beautiful example of a yogic life that Babaji lived.

The retreat marked the one-year anniversary of Babaji's shraddha (ritual after death), and included a daily schedule devoted to practice, connection, service and remembrance. On Friday night a lively Kirtan was held and Yajna took place on Sunday to close the week of practicing together.

Thank you to all those who came to participate in this heart-centered week.We look forward to the 2nd Annual Re-Union Retreat in 2020!
