Zen and Yoga Weekend Retreat with Valorie and Prema

Mar 2 - 4, 2018

Dealing with difficult emotions through the four foundations of Buddhism and Healing Yoga

This workshop integrates Buddhism & Therapeutic Yoga.  Valorie & Lisa will support and guide participants through meditation and therapeutic Yoga to investigate long held patterns in the body/mind. The purpose of the practices are to identify both the stories and the habitual ways of living that can keep one held in suffering. Traditional Buddhist practices honor the role of the body in both creating and relieving suffering. The ancient practice of Yoga reveals the visceral connection that integrates the mind and body together for the relief of suffering.

Lisa & Valorie currently teach together throughout the Bay Area, and lead ongoing workshops at Tassajara and Green Gulch Zen Centers.
