Sun and Moon: A Couples Yoga & Wellness Retreat

Relationships can harness our greatest joy but also trigger our deepest wounds. Join psychotherapists and life partners Sean Neesley and Darcy Cavanaugh for a nourishing couples weekend amidst the redwoods. Together we will explore somatic practices, yoga techniques, and experiential exercises inspired by leading couple’s therapy modalities.
Participants can expect to access new ways of cultivating connection, establishing safety, and harnessing the power of vulnerability. Integrating practical therapy tools, ancient yogic practices, and the nourishing natural landscape, this experience will leave you feeling resourced and connected to the love that you both deserve.
This retreat is open to couples of any life stage, gender identity, or sexual orientation. Yoga practices are accessible for all levels, including beginners.
Tuition & Fees:
$990 per couple ($495 per person) + Meals & Lodging

Note for Families: Children are welcome and childcare options will be available during session times.
Presenters

Sean Neesley (he/him), MA, LMFT, E-RYT 500, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Through his private psychotherapy practice, he specializes in working with couples to promote the experience of loving connection and deep personal growth through honest, open and authentic emotional expression. Sean has been studying and teaching yoga for over a decade and currently serves as a faculty member for Mount Madonna Institute’s 200 and 300 hour Yoga Teacher Training programs. LMFT #139875.

Darcy Cavanaugh (she/her), MA, AMFT, LMT, CYT 500, is a somatic psychotherapist, Licensed Massage Therapist and yoga teacher. Certified in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, she specializes in perinatal and maternal mental health and is passionate about healthy relationship dynamics for every life stage. Darcy is a protectress of safe spaces, and a champion of integrative wellness and empowered vulnerability. AMFT #126359. (Supervised by Tim Hartnett, LMFT #27228)

Guest Rooms
These tasteful rooms, some with ensuite bathrooms, are located in our Conference Center where there is wifi, two lovely courtyards with expansive views to read and relax in, and a full tea bar available at all times in the Conference wing of the building.

These simple rustic cabins are located in our Oaks Campground. They are a short walk to the main area, but have a feeling of being more remote. Cabins include electricity and heat, but not wifi or indoor plumbing. A separate shower house is nearby, containing private showers and dressing rooms, and flush toilets.

Spaces are available for your van, camper or other vehicle. Some have access to electricity, but no other hookups. Showers and restrooms are available in campgrounds and Center buildings.
