Tenshin Reb Anderson: Awakening Through Meeting Face to Face

Jun 30 - Jul 2, 2017

Awakening Through Meeting Face to Face
In the Zen tradition there is a strong emphasis on an intimate face-to-face transmission of enlightenment. In this retreat we will explore how whole-heartedly meeting with an other is the place and the way in which we awaken to the truth and realize peace and justice together with the great earth and all living beings.  In particular we will explore the face-to-face encounters of teacher and student, therapist and client, and all our meetings with others throughout our daily life.
There will be teachings and group discussions along with periods of quiet sitting and walking meditation as well as opportunities for individual interviews. The retreat schedule allows free time to rest, relax and enjoy the mountains and the wide-open summer skies.
