COVID-19 Update: Our Commitment to Well-being

We're ready to welcome you back!

We look forward to hosting you, whether for one day or for an extended retreat. The health, safety, and comfort of our guests and staff is of utmost importance. After consultation on best practices for health and safety during the COVID-19 pandemic, Mount Madonna Center has implemented the following protocols:

  1. All guests must have a confirmed reservation before visiting or entering the property.
  2. All guests (both overnight and day visitors) must show proof of full vaccination to enter Mount Madonna Center.*
  3. All staff must be vaccinated.
  4. At this time there is no mask mandate in place in Santa Cruz county.

*Children under the age of 12 are not required to show proof of vaccination at this time.

Mount Madonna Center will continue to adhere to best practices and guidelines during the COVID 19 pandemic and modify these protocols as appropriate.

Top Things to Know Before Your Visit

Vaccination

  • All guests (overnight and day visitors) are required to show proof of vaccination to enter Mount Madonna Center. Children under the age of 12 are not required to show proof of vaccination.

Face Masks

  • Face masks are no longer required for indoor activities.

Registration

  • Mount Madonna Center is open to registered day and overnight guests only. Reservations are required prior to your arrival on campus. Currently, we are unable to accommodate walk-in guests.

Accommodations

  • All accommodations are single occupancy unless you are registering with someone with whom you will share a room. No dormitory or other shared rooms are available at this time.

Our Staff

  • All staff members practice frequent handwashing and are trained on Covid-19.

Supplies

  • Yoga mats, blocks, straps and other props are provided on request. Guests are asked to use the same supplies for their entire stay. All props are cleaned and disinfected after use.

Facilities

  • Ocean View Books and Gifts, Ayurveda World and Kaya Kalpa Healing Center are available by appointment for registered guests.
  • Yoga classes are offered on a limited basis.
  • The hot tub is closed at this time.

Dining with Us

  • Our dining hall is designed with an emphasis on easy movement.
  • We encourage you to enjoy our outdoor dining facilities whenever weather permits.

Cleaning and Sanitizing Practices

  • We use cleaning products that meet EPA guidelines and are effective against viruses, bacteria, and other pathogens. Our cleaning practices exceed California State requirements. We keep daily cleaning logs, which are inspected regularly by management.
  • Common Areas: There will be an increased frequency of cleaning and sanitizing in all public spaces with an emphasis on frequently touched surfaces.
  • Guest Rooms: There will be no housekeeping services during your stay. Rooms will be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected prior to your arrival, with particular attention to high-touch items.
