Jackie Christensen, Ph.D., M.A. (Ayurveda), is an internationally respected educator with expertise in the domains of natural health, herbology, and Ayurveda. Serving as a distinguished faculty member at esteemed academic institutions, she has garnered recognition for her significant contributions to the field. Jackie's academic pursuits include graduating with distinction on the Dean's Honor List for her Doctoral degree in Naturopathy, attaining a Master of Art degree in Ayurveda and possessing certifications as a Nutritional Consultant and Master Herbalist.

In addition to her academic pursuits, Jackie has orchestrated and led international study abroad programs, conducted local workshops, facilitated online classes, and contributed to conferences of scholarly significance. Operating a private practice in Santa Cruz, CA, her specialization lies in therapeutic interventions for Type-2 Diabetes and gut health.

As a dedicated health practitioner, Jackie's overarching objective is to rejuvenate the human body, systematically addressing toxins that impede the flow of vital energy. Her methodology is deeply rooted in a holistic paradigm, emphasizing a comprehensive assessment of the individual rather than a mere symptom-centric approach. Important Notes About Rates for Accommodations & Meals:

  • Rates are per person and include meals, lodging, and facilities use.
  • Rates are based on stated occupancy. Double and triple rates are available ONLY to groups of 2 or 3 people who are staying in the same room. Please list the names of the people with whom you are sharing the room on the registration form.
  • Please note that fees for accommodations will be based on actual room occupancy.
  • All guests must be registered.
  • Rates stated here apply to this retreat only. Other retreat and program accommodations pricing may differ.

Guest Rooms

These tasteful rooms, some with ensuite bathrooms, are located in our Conference Center where there is wifi, two lovely courtyards with expansive views to read and relax in, and a full tea bar available at all times in the Conference wing of the building.

Rustic Cabins

These simple rustic cabins are located in our Oaks Campground. They are a short walk to the main area, but have a feeling of being more remote. Cabins include electricity and heat, but not wifi or indoor plumbing. A separate shower house is nearby, containing private showers and dressing rooms, and flush toilets.

Own Vehicle

Spaces are available for your van, camper or other vehicle. Some have access to electricity, but no other hookups. Showers and restrooms are available in campgrounds and Center buildings.

Tent Camping

Developed campsites are available for people who wish to bring their own tent. Sites offer access to showers and flush toilets and are available year-round. Please be aware that we can receive significant amounts of rain from November through May.
